Did you know that around 40% of cancers are preventable?
Whilst this number is promising and offers hope for the future, at North West Cancer Research, we understand that education is critical to detecting cancer early and stopping it in its tracks.
Because we believe that information can transform cancer outcomes now and in the future.
That's why cancer education and community outreach are essential aspects of our work.
So throughout the year, we head out into the community to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of cancer, inspiring future researchers and changing perceptions of the disease.
Our award-winning campaigns connect with people like you, increasing cancer knowledge and risk factor awareness.
From engaging with outdoor workers and office staff to Lab Coat Learning in schools and sun safety campaigns, we work with charities and other partners to deliver bespoke cancer prevention and education campaigns where it matters most.
Because together, we will break the pattern. We will find the cure. Together in the North West.
