60 Mile route - registration 8am

60 KM route - registration  9.15am 

Our celebrations back at SRFC will begin as we welcome our first riders back. You can collect your medal, get some official photographs and stick around for a drink, burger from the bar and live music.

   
Getting there

 

Hillside train station is a 5 minute walk to Southport Rugby Football Club. 

If travelling by car, please use the postcode PR8 4QW. 

On-street parking is available in the surrounding areas. Please be courteous when parking in residential locations to not block the pavement or our neighbour's drives.  

Route 

 

The route will be easy to follow and clearly indicated the entire time with arrows. Our Cycle experts will also be guiding at the front and back to make sure nobody gets lost.

Sponsorship 

 

Don't forget, participation in Cycle of Hope holds a £30 minimum sponsorship. This can be raised via an online fundraising page such as JustGiving or Facebook, collected using a paper sponsor form, or paid directly to the Charity on the day of your cycle. 

Anybody raising £100 or over will receive a FREE North West Cancer Research cycle jersey.

Covid Measures 

 

We ask that everyone attending the Rugby Club, whether to take part in the Cycle or join for the celebrations adhere to our Covid measures. 

Please remain in groups of no more than six, maintaining social distancing. Our celebrations will be on the pitch outside the Clubhouse, with seating available. When inside the clubhouse, please keep your mask on. 

We also ask everyone to scan our NHS Test and Trace QR poster as they check-in at registration and if you're able to, please do take a test the morning of for extra peace of mind. 

The clubhouse bar will be providing table service, so please remain patient.
