Venice Marathon offers a unique and picturesque race route through the City of Water. This predominantly flat and fast course starts in front of Villa Pisani, taking runners along the Riviera del Brenta, a landscape rich in history, art and culture. The course also includes a specially-built pontoon bridge for the race which allows runners to cross the Grand Canal - a 170-meters-long bridge which is built just before the marathon and dismantled the night after!
