4 Days, 3 Countries, 1 Cause.
Day 1 - Liverpool to Newtown
Our adventure begins as you take in the sights and sounds of Liverpool’s famous waterfront and maybe even stop for a selfie with the Beatles statue. We take a ferry across the Mersey before continuing south toward Connah’s Quay, passing nature reserves and quirky shops - there’s plenty of opportunity for a few snaps. Tranquil country lanes are in abundance as we near Wrexham and Oswestry, with our final leg bringing us to the largest town in the county of Powys, Newtown. This is your base for the evening and some well-earned rest.
Day 2 - Newtown to Newcastle Emlyn
After a hearty breakfast, we head south and cycle our way through all that the Welsh countryside has to offer, including some hilly terrains while taking in the stunning scenery. Our final leg of today’s journey will see us arrive at the pretty market town of Newcastle Emlyn, lying on the river Teifi in west Wales. After checking in to a pretty village hotel steeped in history, you’ll be ready for some great food and a good night’s rest at our stop for the evening.
Day 3 - Newcastle Emlyn to Enniscorthy
Our route today is a tale of two countries. We first cycle 30 miles to Fishguard, where we leave the tranquil Welsh countryside behind and take a ferry crossing over to Rosslare Harbour, Co Wexford for the second half of the day. After taking lunch on board, we’ll travel north west, passing through Killinick before carrying on north. You’ll get a taste of Ireland as we cycle through the medieval lanes of Wexford and stop for coffee and a cake. The picturesque town of Enniscorthy, known for its many festivals and friendly atmosphere, is our home for the evening.
Day 4 - Enniscorthy to Dublin
Our final cycling day sees us leave Enniscorthy behind and head north through the fabulous Irish scenery and the beautiful towns of Clahoman, Shillelaghs and Donard, to name just a few. Our final leg of the challenge will bring us to the vibrant city of Dublin... our iconic finish for the event and a truly wonderful, lively town. Let the celebrations begin!
