Liverpool Cathedral Abseil - Terms and Conditions 2022
The terms and conditions below apply to all entrants participating in the Liverpool Cathedral Abseil event as organised by Pennine Events. By registering for the Liverpool Cathedral Abseil event you will be required to accept the terms and conditions on offer.
1.Participants should be in a reasonable state of health and by registering they are confirming that theyare in good health and can complete the event.
2.The event organisers cannot be held responsible for personal accident, injury, loss, or damage occurredduring the event.
3.Any costs incurred because of participant rescue or injury are to be covered by the participant andnot Pennine Events.
4.Pennine Events do not accept responsibility for the actions of participants.
5.Participants must follow the instructions of event staff, stewards, and signage always.
6.Event rules and regulations will be stated within the event information booklet as created by PennineEvents/ Liverpool Cathedral – these must always be followed.
7.All sales are final, refunds are not available.
8.Participants can transfer between Liverpool Cathedral Abseil dates. Additional costs may occur dependingon the option chosen.
9.Participants cannot change the named entrant once registered.
10.Registration can only be completed by a person aged 16yrs or over.
11.Participants aged 16/17yrs MUST be accompanied by a responsible person aged of 18yrs+. PennineEvents reserve the right to request photo identification and/or proof of age from participants at anypoint. Failure to comply may result in being withdrawn from the event.
12.Participants accept the age entry criteria and as such Pennine Events do not accept responsibility forany persons that fall outside of the criteria.
13.All participants must wear appropriate clothing and shoes when taking part, as detailed within the EventFAQs document.
14.Participants must always adhere to the rules of the event.
15.Participants must always be considerate to all other participants and non-participants.
16.Where necessary please ensure that you walk in single file and no more than two abreast.
17.All instructions must be followed, any participant not following instructions is therefore outside of theevent and not the responsibility of the event organisers.
18.Pennine Events reserve the right to make changes and adjustments to any dates or registrations at anypoint prior to the event day. All changes will be publicised through the event website and social media.Participants will not be entitled to a refund in this situation, instead should this be requested they will beoffered the chance to change dates instead.
19.Pennine Events promises to do all in their power to ensure that all event days run smoothly.
20.Pennine Events are entitled to adjust the event times on the event day in an emergency without giving priornotice to participants.
21.Event organisers will close the event sites at a specified time, any participant who has not reached the siteby this set time is no longer the responsibility of Pennine Events. Participants must inform event organisersif they are not participating or completing the event.
22.Any lost equipment/property will be returned to the Liverpool Cathedral office and can be collected at arequested time. Pennine Events and Liverpool Cathedral are not responsible for any damage incurred whilein possession of lost property.
1.Each participant agrees to assign and grant the right and permission for Pennine Events and theassociated – Liverpool Cathedral and Blue Ski Photography to use and publish any photographs, film,video and/or sound recordings of the participant on any Pennine Events activity. The participant herebyreleases Pennine Events and Blue Ski Photography from any and all liability from such use andpromotion. The participant authorises the reproduction, sale, copyright, exhibit, and broadcast,electronic storage and/or distribution of said photographs, film, video tapes, electronic representationsand/or sound recordings without limitation at the discretion of Pennine Events. The participantspecifically waives any right to any compensation they may have for appearing in any of thephotographs, film, video and/or sound recordings of the participant at a Pennine Events event.
2.Pennine Events are only liable for the provision of the event/service as entered. Pennine Events cannotbe held liable for any other expenses, damages, loss or injury incurred as a result of entering, trainingfor, attending and/or participating in the event. Should the event be cancelled Pennine Events’ liability islimited to the refund of event entry fee, as specified above, and Pennine Events accept no liability forany expenses you may have incurred.
3.Except in respect of death or personal injury caused by our negligence, Pennine Events shall not be liableto you by reason of any representation (unless fraudulent), or any implied warranty, condition or otherterm, or any duty at common law or under the express terms of the Contract, for any indirect, special orconsequential loss or damage (whether for loss of profit or otherwise), costs, expenses or other claimsfor compensation whatsoever (whether caused by our negligence or our employees, agents orotherwise) which arise out of or in connection with the supply of the Goods or their use or resale by you,and Pennine Events’ entire liability under or in connection with the Contract shall not exceed the price ofthe Goods, except as expressly provided in these Conditions.
