Organized by 15 dedicated Community Health Champions, the event welcomed 56 attendees, offering a space for residents to connect and learn about local services for their health. A key focus was promoting cancer research, providing information on cancer symptoms, encouraging cervical screening, and giving attendees the opportunity to book their screenings on-site.

During the event, the Community Health Champions also ran the North West Cancer Research stand, ensuring visitors received valuable information while enjoying refreshments, including sandwiches, fruit, and water. A special hand massage stand added a relaxing touch to the day, making the event both informative and enjoyable for attendees.

This collaborative effort highlighted the power of community-driven initiatives in promoting health and fostering connections.
