Black Jack and Bow Tie Committee have held a New Year’s Eve party fundraiser to raise funds for North West Cancer Research in support of cancer research in our region.
Supporters gathered at their regular venue of Manor Road Conservative Club to bid farewell to 2024 and welcome 2025 with yet another unforgettable New Year’s Eve celebration! The event marked their 8th consecutive New Year's Eve party, and it was nothing short of spectacular raising an impressive £1,359.45!
Approximately 105 guests attended the event, all eager to embrace the festive spirit. The evening was packed with fun-filled activities, including classic games like Mr & Mrs, Higher & Lower, and a hilariously entertaining circuit of floor games. The night wouldn’t have been complete without Irish Bingo and a raffle, adding an extra layer of excitement to the festivities.
Annie Henderson, who organises the event along with husband Les and couple Angie & Colin Saville, said: “Our DJ for the night, Ben, was amazing and his music choices kept everyone on the dance floor which meant we achieved just what we set out to do, have a really good party to welcome in the new year. We’re immensely grateful to everyone who joined us and contributed to making the evening such a success.”
