BE BREAST SAVVY

North West Cancer Research has taken to the road alongside Anfield and Everton Primary Care Network for a special breast cancer awareness roadshow.

Breast cancer talk

Visiting community centres across Anfield and Everton, the combined forces of Anfield and Everton PCN, School of Create, WHISC and Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, invited women to come along to drop-in sessions and learn about the signs and symptoms of breast cancer, how best to check for any changes in their breasts and get crafty with a bra bedazzling workshop.

Members of the PCN were also on hand to arrange mammograms for any women who had missed theirs, making sure they advocated for their health.

We’re delighted to announce that the Be Breast Savvy roadshow was the winner of the Health & Wellbeing Award at the LCR & Creativity Awards this year.
