PIROUETTES IN PYJAMAS

A dance team from Liverpool John Moores University has chosen North West Cancer Research as its charity of the year, kicking off their efforts with a special ‘Pirouettes in Pyjamas’ fundraiser.

Members of the team were asked to come to their different dance classes in their pyjamas throughout December and contribute to the collection for North West Cancer Research. At the end of the year, the team celebrated the upcoming Christmas break with a raffle in aid of the Charity.

Hannah Barry, Dance Team Charity Officer, said: “As a Liverpool dance team, we definitely wanted to support a Charity that was close to home and that benefits the people around us. Everybody on the dance team knows someone that has been affected by cancer, so supporting research into it is important to each of us.

“Our ‘Pirouettes in Pyjamas’ fundraiser was really fun, and a lot of us would love to carry on coming to class in our PJs!”
