A Wallasey based fundraising Committee have put their fundraising caps back on after a prolonged break due to the pandemic.
The Black Jack and Bow Tie Committee, who have been supporting the Charity with fundraising events since 2006, have come back in style with a big New Year’s bash.
Over 120 people came together for the New Year’s celebrations, and enjoyed a raffle, lively disco and a bit of bubbly, raising £1,761 in the process.
In June, Committee member Les Henderson took to Penrhyn Quarry in Wales for the world’s fastest zip line.
Having been gifted the experience as a Christmas present, Les decided to make it all the more worthwhile and turned it into a fundraiser, raising over £700.
