Jack Downey and Matthew Dodd from Skyhook Games in Liverpool tackled 13 brutal obstacles over a 5km course at the muddiest Tough Mudder in the country, located at Cholmondeley Castle.
Paul Roberts and Dan Kinsey from Roberts Recycling increased their challenge on the day by upgrading to the mammoth 15k course and facing an extra 17 obstacles, including an electrified water pit, smoke chamber and a cage crawl.
Paul said: “Like almost every family out there, we have been affected by cancer so it’s a cause close to our hearts. We’re grateful to everyone who has donated towards North West Cancer Research and the amazing work they do.
“The challenge was great fun and it certainly lives up to the name. We laughed pretty much the whole way round! A special thanks to Carol from the North West Cancer Research team for cheering us in at the end!”
