SUN SAFETY DAY AT HEYSHAM GOLF CLUB
Lancashire & Cumbria Community Fundraiser, Charlotte, visited Heysham Golf Club this summer to speak to club members about the importance of staying sun safe.
During her visit Charlotte handed out sun cream samples to members as they departed for a day of golfing and with blue skies and temperatures into the twenties, it was definitely needed!
The samples were the perfect size to pop into pockets or zips on caddies whilst out on the course. Whilst at the club, Charlotte spoke to the Pro team, members and the team of green keepers, who engaged with the sun safety messages and handed out leaflets and wallet cards with hints and tips for staying safe in the sun, as well as the NHS ABCDE mole checking guide.
