Full House for Cancer Research
A Sandycroft fundraising group has recently celebrated hitting a fundraising milestone of £60,000 – a huge amount that will have a significant impact on cancer research in our region.
NWCR Head of Marketing and Fundraising, Cara Newton, joined the group in Deeside at one of their weekly bingo nights to commemorate the occasion and receive their latest donation of £6,500.
Cara said: “I had a great night at the bingo evening, it was such a lovely community feel – I can see why it’s become such a popular weekly event. As a charity, we’re so proud to have supporters like this group at Sandycroft, who show their dedication to tackling cancer and supporting our research each and every week. We owe them a big thank you!”
