Gin Tasting Evening
A group of gin-lovers enjoyed a night of tasting and fundraising at North West Cancer Research’s first Gin Tasting Evening last month.
Hosted by the Liverpool Gin Distillery, the night included a full-size drink on arrival, samples from the iconic Liverpool Gin range as well as tasting plates to compliment the flavours.
Guests were invited to enter a raffle to win some fantastic prizes, including; Benefit cosmetics bundle, pantomime tickets for the Epstein, Semi-permanent eyelash treatment from Cesca Makeup and Amelie tickets at the Playhouse theatre.
An auction was also held with lots including Afternoon Tea for Two at 60 Hope Street, a Liverpool Gin Distillery experience which features a lab tour and gin making class, a
cocktail masterclass for six from Red Door and a three-night break for two people at Holyrood Cottage in Edinburgh.
A fantastic £2,500 was raised from the evening and will benefit life-saving research in the region. We would like to thank the following businesses for supporting our event by donating a prize or service:
