The event, which will take place on 26th June 2022, will start and finish at Southport Rugby Club and will offer participants either a gentle 60km route or a more challenging 60mile course, circling Lancashire and Merseyside.

This will mark the second year of Cycle of Hope in Southport, with last year’s inaugural event seeing a total of 140 cyclists take part to raise a total of £40,000 for the Charity.

All money raised from the challenge will support life-saving cancer research and education projects in the North West.

Alistair Richards, CEO North West Cancer Research said: “It’s a really exciting time at the North West Cancer Research as we’re gearing up to hit the road again for our most popular event.

“The past few years have been tough for everyone, especially people who are undergoing or waiting for cancer treatment so research into better and kinder treatments has never been more vital.

“We’re also delighted to have local solicitors Brown Turner Ross join us as official sponsor of the Cycle of Hope again this year. It’s great to work alongside a company who share our passion for battling cancer issues in our region.

“We hope as many cyclists as possible will join us and Brown Turner Ross once again to show their support for life-saving research!”
