Sell-out choir confirmed to perform at Wirral Bazaar

A local choir has confirmed that they will be performing at the 29th annual Wirral Bazaar to help raise thousands of pounds for North West Cancer Research (NWCR).

Entertaining visitors at the Wirral Bazaar for the first time, the Luminelles will be performing festive classics, featuring young singers from Birkenhead High School.

The choir has recently performed at the Liverpool Echo Arena for BBC Worldwide and at the Anglican Cathedral to a sell-out audience of over 1000 people.

Returning choirs SingMe Mersey, Off Pitch and the Birkenhead school choir will also lend their voices to the event, as well as resident saxophonist, Dick Neal.

The Bazaar will return on Tuesday 5th and Wednesday 6th November at the Walled Garden Marquee, Thornton Manor, bringing together carefully selected stalls from across the country, offering a range of unique Christmas gifts.

Items available will include candles and home fragrances, men’s and ladies’ clothing, children’s toys and a variety of food and drink.

Last year’s Bazaar attracted over 3,500 visitors and raised £41,000 for North West Cancer Research, which will support funding for life-saving cancer research here in the North West.

Shoppers will have the unique opportunity to donate to NWCR whilst doing their Christmas shopping, as all stallholders give 10% of their takings to the charity. The £5 entry fee and all profits from catering will also go directly to NWCR.

The Bazaar is organised by a small but dedicated volunteer committee, their wonderful army of friends and family and supported by corporate sponsor The Mitchell Group, whose long-term support has ensured the event’s continued success.

Majestic, West Kirby will once again offer support and will provide prosecco and red and white wine on the Tuesday evening.

This year’s Wirral Bazaar will take place in the Walled Garden Marquee at Thornton Manor on Tuesday 5th November from 2pm till 8.30pm and Wednesday 7th November from 9.30am till 3pm.
