WREXHAM WOMEN’S NETWORKING
Team members from North West Cancer Research recently visited Wrexham for a special Women’s networking event, and to give an insight into the work of the Charity.
Around 30 professional women from across Chester and North Wales came together in May for coffee, networking and education.
Regional Fundraiser Tess delivered a presentation including the signs and symptoms of the cancers most affecting women, and small positive changes we can make to our health, as well as sun safety advice ahead of the summer months.
Following the presentation, guests were invited to examine their skin under our special UV camera, which detects sun damage that isn’t as easily detected by the naked eye.
A Charity raffle was also held to round off the event, with the lucky winners taking home
bottles of bubbly and pamper sets.
