Putting our region's cancer needs first

Sun Safety

We're taking our skin cancer campaign on the road to make sure people of our region know how to protect their skin and stay sun safe.

More than 15,900 new cases of skin cancer are diagnosed in the UK every year, with the disease affecting twice as many men as women.

This summer, we're relaunching our skin cancer campaign. Armed with our Sun Safety Guide and plenty of sun cream, we're taking to the sun traps of the North West to educate the public on keeping safe in the sun and prevent skin cancer.
