Volunteers are the lifeblood of NWCR’s battle to beat cancer.
Giving a little of your time makes a huge difference in our tireless efforts to create a cancer-free future.
And there are lots of ways to help. Whether you’re retired and looking to put your new-found free time to the best possible use, or a student with just the odd hour to spare, you can make a valuable contribution.
Our volunteering opportunities include:
Volunteering is fun, gets you out and about meeting people and gives you the pleasure of knowing your free time is very well spent.
If you’d like to become involved, or just want to find out more about volunteering, please call Bobby on 0151 709 2919 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Volunteers also play a key role in managing NWCR’s many collection tins and boxes, which – thanks to the public’s generosity – help fund crucial cancer research in the North West of England and North Wales.
NWCR’s collection tins and boxes generate some £10,000 a year, while collection boxes in North West stores helped us raise over £4000 last year.
So simply agreeing to have a collection tin or box in your workplace, home or shop supports the scientists making real advances in the front line of the fight against cancer.
